Long before there was a Dollar General or a Wal-Mart in Wakulla County, goods were sold, bought and traded at the Panton and Leslie Trading Post on the Wakulla River.
Starting in 1984, local artist Mike Kinsey spent his free time fanning the silt of the Wakulla River, training his eye to find tiny, and sometimes colorful, remnants of history.
