To St. Marks & The Gulf Coast
To the people of St. Marks and the Gulf Coast:

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

“ . . . if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will I forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

This is a message is from God to “His” people, all true born again Christians and, all true Christ followers who have accepted and received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior; and, who have been baptized in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; and, who have backslidden to their old sinful nature, living sinful lives under the influence of Satan instead of under the influence of the Holy Spirit of God Who indwells all true born again Christians and Christ Followers. God is telling them in this passage above to repent, humble (kneel) themselves before Him and “then” He will hear them. Repentance being the key word, an action on our part that is required by God.

Of course, if you have not been born again, then the “only” prayer God will answer for you is to be forgiven of your sins and saved (born again). He will not hear you otherwise! Good people do not go to Heaven only repentant and forgiven people go to Heaven! Jesus talks more about hell in the Bible than He does Heaven – Why? Because hell is a real place and Jesus does not want us to go there, that’s why!!

John 3:3 (NLT)

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” (Kingdom of God = Heaven)

Jesus Christ Himself, Who “is” God and cannot lie, tells us in Scripture that you will not go to Heaven if you are not born again, meaning “by grace through faith are you saved”. In order to be born again: (1) One must admit that they are a sinner (2) One must repent of their sins noted by a definite change in mind about sin and Jesus and, by a turning away from their sinful lifestyle (3) One must believe in their hearts that Jesus “is” the Son of God, that Jesus “did” die on the Cross for their sins, and that Jesus “was” raised from the dead and now sits in Heaven at the right hand of God as our mediator (4) One must ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins and be truly sorry enough to turn from this sinful lifestyle (5) One must invite Jesus to come live in their heart and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior (6) One must ask Jesus to save them “now” (7) One must thank God in “faith” for saving them (8) One must be baptized by immersion, “the old lifestyle dies with Christ and the new lifestyle is raised up with Christ”.

So, if you truly want this land healed, if you truly want the oil spill to stay out of these waters, if you truly want God to move His mighty hand and, by His power keep our waters safe from this disaster, if you truly want God to bless this coast and provide what we need to survive, if you truly want God to help us as only He can, then you have to do what Jesus said, be born again, so that God will hear you and so that God will answer. If the people of this coast who are not saved would come forward and be saved, and then, if the whole populous (all saved) would get on their knees together, of one accord, and humble themselves, and pray from the heart for God to help us all and protect our waters then, and only then,

1. WILL WE WITNESS THE POWER OF GOD IN THIS DISASTER

2. GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU KNOW AND IS WAITING FOR YOU

3. NO ONE IS OUT OF THE REACH OF THE HAND OF ALMIGHTY GOD

4. ONLY GOD CAN FIX WHAT MAN HAS DONE IN THIS CIRCUMSTANCE!

As I am and always will be, in love with and in service to, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,

Patricia, Bond Servant

"So be strong and courageous!

Do not be afraid and do not panic before them.

For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you.

He will neither fail you nor abandon you." (Deut 31:6) NLT
