The Wakulla County Parks and Recreation Department will host the 2010 spring programs registration on Saturday, Feb. 6 and Saturday, Feb. 13 at the recreation park in Medart from 8 a.m. to noon.

• Sport-age-fee

1. T-ball minor league- 4 & 5- $40.

2. T-ball major league- 6 & 7- $40.

3. Pitching machine league- 7 & 8- $45.

The pitching machine league will end by spring break.

4. Player pitch league- 7 & 8- $45.

Player pitch league will start shortly after spring break.

Player pitch registration will start on March 29. The deadline for player pitch will be Thursday, April 1. The league will commence only if there is enough participation.

5. Wakulla Cal Ripken Association - Minor- 9 & 10- $80.

6. Wakulla Cal Ripken Association - Major- 11 & 12- $80.

(All Minor and Major Cal Ripken players must attend a player evaluation being conducted during registration times. Please bring your child with baseball gear to registration so he may run, throw, catch and hit.)

7. Babe Ruth Association- 13 to 15- $100.

8. Girls Softball Association- 10 and under- $60; 12 and under- $60; 14 and under $60.

9. Baton twirling Program- ages 5 and up- $45.

A birth certificate for proof of age is required for most sports.

All league age determining dates are April 30, except girls’ softball. Their age determining date is Jan. 1.

All children must provide proof of health insurance or purchase the $7.50 policy. The registration deadline for T-ball and pitching machine league is Feb. 13 at noon.

All of the association deadlines may vary so please sign up early so your child secures a spot.
