Since the Junior ROTC program's inception in 1993, our goal has been to offer every cadet an equal opportunity, regardless of economic status, to participate fully in all unit activities such as orientation trips to military bases, field meet competitions, tradition-rich social events, etc. Fundraising continues to be the key to seeing this goal become a reality.
The Wakulla High School NJROTC has been highly visible throughout Wakulla County and has developed into one of the most successful in the state, especially for its size. The unit has been recognized as a Distinguished Unit each of the past nine years. The primary objective of our unit is to equip cadets with the tools that will enable them to succeed in life. We develop character traits such as honor, courage, and commitment.
Over the past six years, Wakulla NJROTC cadets have contributed over 15,000 hours to numerous community service projects.
