The Wakulla Middle School Girl's Soccer Team completed their 2009 season undefeated. This marks their second undefeated season in a row.
Their schedule of games included matches against Riversprings, Holy Comforter, Florida High and Trinity Catholic. Captains, who were selected by their peers, were Madison Harris and Haley Brown. Harris received the Most Valuable Player award finishing the season with 18 goals. Haley Brown received the Sportsmanship Award for demonstrating great leadership and keeping up the team's spirit.
Macy Allen received the Best Offense award for her assists and goals. Aleyda Plagge who successfully shut down the opponent's offense many times over, received the Best Defense award. Josie Brooks received the Most Improved award for a great job playing defender.
The 2009 soccer team included five eighth graders, 10 seventh graders and five sixth graders.
