By Staff The Wakulla High Wrestling War Eagles placed second in the Regional Qualifying in Clay County on Feb. 12 and 13. Seven of 13 team members qualified for state, includingTravis McCollough, who placed second in the heavyweight, division, Jeremy Hall took first in 103 pound division, Tyler Hill placed first in 119 pounds. Scott Varner placed first in 140 pounds, Brandon Cardon took third place in 145 pounds, Luke Taylor took first place in 160 pounds, Matt Fields placed third at 171 pounds. The team photo was taken with the second place trophy. This picture was dedicated to Travis Hinsey who is currently undergoing treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma. The motto for the Regional Qualifier was "The Surprise will Survive."
