Bank of America offers workshop on foreclosure assistance

Nearly 20,000 Bank of America customers throughout the Florida Panhandle are in need of foreclosure assistance.
A workshop will be held in Tallahassee on Wednesday, Dec. 7, through Thursday, Dec. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., where these customers have an opportunity to meet face-to-face with home retention specialists to review their options for home loan modifications or other alternatives to foreclosure.
The workshop will be held at the Double Tree by Hilton in Tallahassee, 101 S. Adams St.
Workshops are also scheduled for Panama City, Pensacola and Gainesville, and the free events will help customers avoid foreclosure and regain their financial footing.  
Customers were actively contacted through direct mail, phone calls, emails and text messages to encourage their attendance at one of the stops on the mobile tour.
