First season of varsity baseball takes FICAA championship

Wakulla Christian School finished its first varsity season strong, with a 15-game winning streak and the Florida Independent Christian Athletic Association championship over the weekend.
The Saints beat Zephyrhills Christian 27-0 on Friday, May 5, and beat Bradenton Inspiration Academy 4-2. On Saturday, May 6, they won the FICAA champiosnhip with a 19-2 win over Community Christian.
The Saints finished the year with 19 wins.
The Saints last home game on Jim Pound Field was April 20 against Robert F. Munroe. Senior Night recognized players Peyton Bennett, Jacob Dempsey, Jacob Estes, and Jaren Lawhon. All four players stated this game was bittersweet and wanted to thank all of their families, staff, student body and friends for the continued support this season.
