Bertha Jean Porter obituary

Bertha Jean Porter, 71, died on Friday, Jan. 27, after a long illness.

She was born March 26, 1940, in Havana. She lived in Wakulla County 12 years.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Sun City Center Funeral Home and graveside services followed at Fellowship Cemetery in Wiamauma.

Survivors include three daughters, Elaine Hernández of Ruskin, Debbie Hernández of Wiamauma, and Connie Gilleon of Ona; two sisters, Betty Ann Mayfield and Mary Sue Smith, both of Crawfordville; and eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, M.L. and Susie Jones; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Logan; and her sister, Kathryn Burdette.

Sun City Center Funeral Home of Sun City was was in charge of arrangements.
