Bryan "Mullet" Strickland and wife Chelsea are no strangers to Wakulla County. Bryan was born and raised here, and Chelsea came to Wakulla in 1991 to enroll in Wakulla schools. Both have seen the county grow, and think it's very important to support local companies as much as possible. In the summer of 2009, Bryan and Chelsea decided to kick off a new business venture, Bryan Strickland’s Pool Service – a pool cleaning service company. Bryan and Chelsea take pride in the growth the company has made over the last year.

Bryan Strickland, wife Chelsea, and daughter Eva cut the ribbon at the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce office on Friday, Feb. 26.

“There is something about turning a green mini swamp into an inviting summer oasis,” Bryan says. “We are here for the customer.”

Bryan and Chelsea's daughter, Era, 9, is a big part of the company. “That girl can run a mean skimmer pole,” Bryan beamed.

The Stricklands work as a family to take care of their business families.
