Tell us about your business (include unique facts and history): I started my business in 1993 after I was tired of working for companies that didn’t think outside the box. Over the years, I’ve won a few design awards which keep me motivated. I’ve had clients tell me that I’m easy to work with and a fast designer with a creative eye. I think that’s what has kept me in business for so long, even in this economy.
What services, products do you offer? Logo development, billboard/ad development, magazine/newsletter/brochure design, t-shirt designs, murals, website design and some printing services.
What sets your business apart from the competition? I am a small design company so my overhead is not as high as some of my competitors. This way I can keep my costs low and my turnaround quick.
What should we be on the lookout for? I just finished designing the Wakulla County tear-off map and hope to be doing more work for the Tourism Council as well as other local businesses.
How long have you been a Chamber member? Less than a year.
Why did you join the Chamber? I joined the Wakulla Chamber because I love this community and how easy it is to meet people. It is easier to network with a smaller group of people and I saw a need for design services in the county. I’m excited to be a part of a growing community and the people who are as enthusiastic about it as I am.
Why should local businesses join the Chamber? Networking opportunities!
What’s your reason that Wakulla residents should Shop Local? Who wants to travel 17 miles into town when most of what you need is local? I know that I have limited my travel into Tallahassee on the weekends by 80 percent.
