• New Bridge Hope to offer dinner, garage sale, car wash on Saturday

New Bridge Hope Missionary Baptist Church will offer dinners and a garage sale on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The church is located at 1282 Spring Creek Hwy, across from Mack’s Meats.
Barbecue dinners will be sold for $10 per plate, with choice of ribs or chicken with baked beans, potato salad, bread and a drink (water or soda).

• Ochlockonee Bay UMC to hold annual spaghetti dinner on Sept. 15

The Annual Spaghetti Dinner at the Ochlockonee Bay United Methodist Church, Surf Road, will be Friday, Sept. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Dinner tickets are $10 each and include spaghetti, salad, bread and homemade desserts. Included this year will be a Silent Auction with a fine array of new items, estate and/or antique items, and gift certificates to local businesses – all going to the highest bidder.
Proceeds will be used for  church building improvements.

• Crawfordville UMC to host Jimmy Hazen Memorial Shoot fundraiser on Sept. 30

Set your sights on helping us overcome hunger in our community by joining us for the Jimmy Hazen Mamorial Shoot on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Wakulla County Sheriff’s shooting range in Otter Creek.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a safety briefing; match begins at 10 a.m. Lunch will be available.
Cost is $25 per person (two targets).
Proceeds from the shoot will benefit the Food Bank Ministry of Crawfordville United Methodist Church.
