Every spring from around April 1 to about mid-May, neo-tropics (the songbirds) come pouring out of South and Central America including Mexico and the Caribbean where they have been wintering and enter the U.S. to establish their nesting territories, breed and rear young. This migration at our latitude peaks about mid-April.
