The Big Bend Hospice Patient and Family Holiday Gift Drive was born over 15 years ago as a way to give patients and families happy memories of a final holiday.

For terminally ill patients and their families, the holiday season can seem overwhelming. The importance of maintaining holiday traditions and making lasting memories, especially at the end of life, is very important.

For some patients purchasing gifts for their family is impossible as the cost of being chronically ill has financially drained their resources.
