Students represent Wakulla well at state

The Jake Pigott Memorial American Legion Post and Auxiliary 144 sent seven students to the annual Boys and Girls State Session to represent Wakulla County. The session was held in July in Tallahassee.

The Wakulla High School students, who are currently seniors, took part in a mock legislative session similar to the session held by the Florida Legislature.

Participants elect members to serve as governor and other state, county and city positions. The propose bills and pass legislature.
