• ZEPHYRHILLS RECYCLING BIN RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY at 11 a.m. at St. Marks River Park, 3 River Breeze St. in St. Marks. Keep Wakulla County Beautiful invites you to join them along with representatives from Zephyrhills Water and the City of St. Marks for a ceremony to celebrate recycling bins for the Wakulla River Park and the St. Marks River Park boat ramp. Zephyrhills has donated 30 permanently mounted bins around Wakulla parks and boat ramps.

• FRIENDS OF WAKULLA SPRINGS  5K RUN AND 1-MILE FUN RUN from 7 a.m. to noon at Wakulla Springs State Park. Run winds through “The Sanctuary” wilderness area not normally open to public. For more visit www.wakullasprings.org

• FREE SPORTS AND CAMP PHYSICALS from 8 to 11 a.m. at Wakulla Urgent Care, 41 Feli Way in Crawfordville. For middle and high-school students (including upcoming 6th-graders) who want to participate in Florida High School Athletic Association events during the summer and the next school year, and Special Olympic athletes. 8-9 a.m. is for WHS football players, 9-10 other WHS students, 10-11 Riversprings and Wakulla Middle students. If you come at a time other than yours you will have to wait to be worked in. Camp and physical forms must be provided.

• VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pioneer Baptist Church, 486 Beechwood Dr. in Crawfordville. For grades K-5th grade. Come enjoy Galactic Starveyors!

•  MOTORCYCLE POKER RUN to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Registration 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Tallahassee Harley-Davidson, 1745 Capital Circle NW, Tallahassee. Last bike out at 10:45. Cards at Hardee’s in Crawfordville, Hamaknockers BBQ in Medart, Ouzts’ Too in Newport, Cooter Stew Cafe in St. Marks and Skybox Sports Bar & Grill in Crawfordville. • SHARKS & CHABLIS fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. at Gulf Specimen Marine Lab & Aquarium, 222 Clark Dr. in Panacea. Joel Sartore of National Geographic will present lecture and slideshow of Photo Ark, an ongoing quest to photographically archive the biodiversity of species before they disappear.
