Last week Hurricane Michael ripped through Florida’s Panhandle, leaving thousands homeless.
At least two dozen people have died since Michael made landfall, as of Tuesday, the death toll continued to rise. There were no reported deaths in Wakulla County.
“We were very lucky, and several counties to the west were not,” Emergency Management Director Randall Taylor said.
