The first day of school went off pretty much without a hitch on Monday, Aug. 12, according to Superintendent of Schools Bobby Pearce.
“It was a good day, a safe day,” said Pearce. “Everybody got to school, got fed, safely got through the day.”
Enrollment was up about 75 students in K-12, he said. There was a significant increase at the elementary and middle schools.
