Back to School Breakfast held at WHS

Teachers, principals, district staff and school board members were on hand on Friday, Aug. 3 for the annual Back to School Breakfast at Wakulla High School. The breakfast, sponsored by Centennial Bank, marks the start of the new school year as teachers return to work. This year, School Resource Officers were introduced, Triumph Gulf Coast presented a $180,000 check as first payment of $3.7 million in BP money to move the bus garage from Wakulla High School to Crawfordville. Teacher of the year Kerry Adams said a teacher’s job is best described by the word “Encourage.”
