2018 Wakulla High School graduate and standout baseball player Caleb Carter committed to further his baseball career at Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga.
Thomas University is a NAIA school and participates in the Sun Conference which spans from South Florida to South Carolina.
While Carter was at Wakulla High, he lettered on the Varsity three years, had a career average of over .300 and racked up 85 homers during his four- year career at Wakulla High. Carter played centerfield for the War Eagles and is a strong defender who covers lots of ground in the outfield.
Coach Anderson said of Caleb, “I am extremely proud of Caleb and the opportunity he has to play at TU.  He is a gifted athlete and hard worker that puts in lots of extra time at the field honing his craft and will be a steady outfielder and hitter for Thomas University. We will miss Caleb at Wakulla High.”
Carter was the fourth 2018 player from Wakulla High to continue their baseball career at the college level.
