  • Chamber President's Message

    Chamber President

Well, another month has just flown by but I am happy to report it has been another productive one for our Chamber and for the local business community.
For starters a little recognition is in order for Paul Johnson, one of our past Chamber presidents and the author of our ShopLocal Wakulla campaign. Paul found out early on that Wakulla County had been left out of Senate bill 248 -- a bill that was written to help “disproportionately disadvantaged” Panhandle counties affected by the BP spill.

  • Message from the President 12-2

Greeting Fellow Chamber Members and Friends,

Can you believe it? The end of the year is fast approaching and the New Year is quickly coming upon us.
Over the course of the year, there have been many challenges faced that have all but changed the local landscape as we know it.

We have seen businesses close, homes foreclosed, oil spills plague our coastal communities and families wonder where their next meal will come from.

  • Business mixer is held at Bella's Bed & Biscuit and Grooming

Steve Canfield, owner of Bella’s Bed & Biscuit and Grooming Boutique, along with his wife Kim, hosted the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce business mixer networking event Thursday evening, Nov. 18.
More than 50 people attended the outdoor patio soiree and enjoyed a fried mullet dinner with side dishes and a huge selection of homemade desserts.

Bella’s offers professional grooming services in a very relaxing “doggie spa atmosphere” where your pet is pampered and groomed with love.
