  • Business mixer is held at Bella's Bed & Biscuit and Grooming

    Steve Canfield, owner of Bella’s Bed & Biscuit and Grooming Boutique, along with his wife Kim, hosted the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce business mixer networking event Thursday evening, Nov. 18.
    More than 50 people attended the outdoor patio soiree and enjoyed a fried mullet dinner with side dishes and a huge selection of homemade desserts.

    Bella’s offers professional grooming services in a very relaxing “doggie spa atmosphere” where your pet is pampered and groomed with love.

  • Ribbon cutting is held for Cowboy Country Church

    The Cowboy Country Church at Three Y Ranch in Crawfordville recently held a ribbon-cutting.
    Maurice Langston, who is ministering the church, said the best way to understand Cowboy Country Church is to view it in terms of community.
    “We interact with a number of different communities every day,” Langston said. “Our kids go to an educational community called school. Many people are involved in commerce communities called work. We live in communities we call neighborhoods.

  • South East Eye Specialists hosts mixer

    of The Chamber
    About 40 members joined the business mixer, held by South East Eye Specialists on Thursday, Sept. 23, to meet the new and very charming optometrist Nicole Vendegna, who joined the local team recently.
    Dr. V, as she is lovingly called by the wonderful staff members of the Crawfordville office, made the move from Chicago to Tallahassee after a May snow storm, thinking the weather in the Deep South would be more to her liking.
    After working for about one year in Tallahassee, she transferred to the Crawfordville location.
