  • Chamber supports local businesses

July has proven to be a busy month with lots of exciting things happening in our community.
With the hot heat of the summer and constant energy needed to cool off, electric bills can rise.
The Chamber has found a solution to the problem. Thanks to our partnership with Duke Energy, we presented a free energy efficiency workshop.
Participants were welcomed and educated by Danny Collins, Community Relations Manager, Michele Cavallo, Small & Medium Business Solutions Manager and Derick Farfan, Business Energy Manager.

  • Ribbon cutting- Logan Roofing

Logan Roofing held a ribbon-cutting at its new location. After 40 years in business, the new location is an extension of the life-long achievements of our family owned and operated company. The same quality and professionalism we have always shown elsewhere our community is now allowing us to show here in Wakulla. We can handle anything you can possibly throw at us from minor repairs to roof replacement, both commercial and residential.

  • Lunch held at WEI, catered by Zaxby’s

Many thanks go to Bob Ballard for the use of the Wakulla Environmental Institute for our monthly networking luncheon. Despite lightning taking out the air conditioner, the dog trot felt relatively comfortable, even with 100 percent humidity and 83 attending.
Zaxby’s was pleased to cater our luncheon, and brought massive amounts of fried and grilled chicken, delicious pasta salad, fresh green salad with all the toppings, and an array of cookies. Zaxby’s has many catering options, so if you have never used them, please consider.
