Home prices have increased in subdivisions in Wakulla as acreage for single-family homes in the county has become more limited.

The number of single-family homes  being built in Wakulla County is going up – and most of them are going into subdivisions.
According to the county planning department, 185 single-family homes have been constructed during the current fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30. (The planning department tracks permits by fiscal year.) There were 246 single-family homes constructed during the fiscal year 2017-18.
