The state may help fund advanced septic tanks for Wakulla residents.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is proposing a plan to reduce pollution in many Florida springs. The Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP), was at first expected to cost many local homeowners thousands of dollars.
Wakulla County Commissioner Ralph Thomas said that may not be the case.
Thomas met with DEP representatives on Monday, June 18, and received answers to many looming questions.
